Las Vegas is 3-4, with a 1-3 home record and a 2-1 road record. The Raiders won their first three games, then lost four straight. In the latest loss, they fell 21-35 to the Rams after trailing 28-6 at halftime. They rallied in the fourth quarter but missed both two-point attempts.
Klint Kubiak has kept Kirk Cousins at quarterback, with Fernando Mendoza behind him. Cousins has thrown 16 touchdown passes through the season’s first seven weeks. Against the Rams, Tre Tucker caught five passes for 103 yards, while the Raiders gained 49 rushing yards.
The defense and running game are current areas of concern. The Rams gained 199 rushing yards, and Las Vegas allowed at least 30 points in each of its last four games. These numbers sit alongside a productive passing attack and a 3-0 start.
Bech is back after being activated from injured reserve, and Dont’e Thornton Jr. returned to the active roster earlier in the week.
