Texas Tech is 6-1, ranked No. 13 and 4-0 at home. The 34-26 win over Arizona followed the 24-37 loss at Cincinnati. The Red Raiders are 2-1 on the road. Tonight brings another home game against West Virginia, which is 4-3.
The main recent change is at quarterback. Joey McGuire started Thomas Castellanos against Arizona instead of Will Hammond. The weekly chart now puts Castellanos first and Hammond behind him. J’Koby Williams contributed 175 rushing yards, including the late touchdown run that extended Tech’s lead. Tech also posted its season-high rushing total of 328 yards.
