Ex-Colorado State G Kyan Evans chooses North Carolina

Former Colorado State guard Kyan Evans said on multiple social media sites that he is transferring to North Carolina.
The 6-foot-2 Evans played two seasons for the Rams and started all 36 games this past season, averaging 10.6 points, 3.1 assists and 2.9 rebounds.
Evans helped the Rams reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament before losing to Maryland on a game-ending shot.
Colorado State coach Niko Medved departed for Minnesota after the season and there was speculation Evans would follow. But according to the Pioneer Press, Evans' NIL offer from North Carolina was more than $2 million.
Evans shot a stellar 44.6 percent from 3-point range (70 of 157) last season.
Evans can help soften the blow of losing 2023-24 All-American guard RJ Davis, who is out of college eligibility.
